"Jarl Balgruuf," Beorn announced, bowing his head. "Will you take Jarl Ulfric's axe?" "Can you damned warmongering, bloodthirsty soldiers leave me be? As soon as word of the Dragonborn's death got out..." His voice trailed off. "Return Ulfric's axe to him." He ordered bluntly. "To not side with him, is to side against him," Beorn warned. "I know that. And so be it. Leave my city, now," Balgruuf ordered. And Beorn obliged.
Inspired by @corinneleigh and the Mother of Dragons journal she made. Not perfect, but I like the way it turned out and I enjoyed making it. Cardboard painted and sanded in an attempt to look wood-like, regular copy paper, and embroidery floss. @threadbangerstudios #diy#dragons#journals#crafty#keepbusy
"I don't have much time to lose, Vilkas," Beorn said, pulling Wuuthrad from the sheath on his back. "But I believe you'll be the best leader to the Companions." Vilkas shifted uncomfortably. "That's a tall order, Harbinger," he said nervously. "I don't know that I'm ready for that." Beorn beamed. "And that is exactly why I know you are ready. The war continues. I must take my leave of this place," Beorn handed Wuuthrad over. "Hail, Harbinger." Vilkas took the axe. "It is an honor. Farewell, Beorn."
A young courier interrupted then. "I have a message from Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak of Windhelm," he announced, digging in his bag. "Here you are." He handed the note over and was gone in a blink of an eye. 'Beorn, The war is ready to be continued, in earnest, for Alduin has been defeated. However, the Dragonborn has been slain as a result, and we have lost a potential ally in the process. Return to Windhelm immediately, Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak.' Beorn grinned nervously. He put the note in his pocket and ran to Jorrvaskr.
"Hail, Companion," a guard greeted as Beorn headed up to Jorrvaskr. "Have the Companions decided who the next Harbinger will be? The world needs leaders now." Beorn cocked his head to the side. "What do you mean by that?" He asked. "Oh, you haven't heard?" The guard asked, surprised. "Both the Harbinger of the Companions and the Dragonborn have died in the same week. Alduin has been defeated in the process, but the world could use some hope right now, before the war starts up again."
So many great #dragons in literature I could possibly use for this prompt (Smaug, Norbert, ERAGON!!!, just to name a few obvious classics), but I decided to take it back old school to a couple of dragons from my youth. Anyone remember these guys-Dragolin and Trafalgar True? They are from the #Serendipity collection of stories which used beautiful (and often adorable) illustrations to tell stories that taught valuable lessons. #Trafalgar taught us about sharing, and #Dragolin taught us about believing in ourselves (lessons a lot of us can still benefit from). On top of that they whisked us away to fantastical worlds and often introduced us to charters we could only dream of. I still enjoy sharing these stories with my kids and hope to pass them on for generations to come! #trafalgartrue#serendipitycollection#stephencosgrove#robinjames

Cyane was my first character as I'm sure you know by now.
I chose Ranger after a lot of thought and research, I wanted a class that could dual wield and use a bow (for some reason I didn't even see warrior as an option). The idea of an animal companion appealed to me a lot too. I think the fact that I was choosing Norn edged me towards Ranger too, the whole spirit animal and Ranger pet fit.
The name Cyane (which I feel I've explained before) is from the TV series Xena Warrior Princess, there was a really badass Amazon warrior called Cyane and I just loved the sound of the name too.
I did a lot of dungeons with her when I was starting out, got kicked only the odd time, not to sure why because it was usually before we even started the dungeon. 😂 maybe it was the old Ranger hate.
Cyane has been through all stories and living world stories. She's still my main even now. She's never had her hair changed and her armour has always been mainly red colors, tattoos are the only big change that's been done to her. She's had 864 hours played and most deaths too at 1,899 as I did all my learning and exploring zones that were to high a level for her level, with her. I started working on world completion on her a few months ago but got bored at 69%. I'll pick it up again someday. 😊 - Warrioress
