I wish I had taken a better picture of dinner. This was just a quick pic on snapchat 😂. But it was so good and so easy!! A mixture of EVOO, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Rosemary on the veggies. Ghee, garlic, salt, Rosemary, and lemon zest rubbed on the chicken and under the skin. Roasted at 450 degrees. Definitely a keeper.

Whew! Holy crap today's workout was hard.
Today was one of those mornings that I just did not want to! One of those days that I just had to mentally push myself and I am thankful it was a Shaun T workout because he is so motivating to me.
So why did I just not workout? Because I made a commitment to myself to change just over a year ago and I am not where I want to be yet. So I am going to keep on plugging and pushing myself!
Now that it's done I feel so much better and I am glad that I got it done 👊🏻.
My hamstrings are SO SORE from Hammer Power yesterday! Good thing today was day 7 of my first week and that meant Active Recovery for me today!!! So needed it! Going to foam roll and drink lots of fluids and help my legs recover as the 2nd day is usually the worst 😬😆
Today the kiddos were off of school for Dr. Martin Luther King Day. When it came time for me to workout while the littlest napped the kids chose to workout with me instead of play inside with their toys. (💁🏼proud Mom moment that they chose to move with me)!!!
We had fun while working out together. Did they nail every move? Nah but did they MOVE 🥊🥋and have FUN 🎉?? You bet they did and it was something we did together and bonded over. It might just be 1 workout but to me it means they are watching 👀 me & listening 🗣👂🏻to me even when I don't think they are and they are choosing to be healthy!! 👣🏆
I'm making up for lost time. Don't judge me. A little fluff never hurt nobody. I'm finally able to make time for the gym again and it feels amazing. I'm happy and feel balanced. I don't know where all this will take me, but I'm enjoying my life one day at a time #backatit#gymlife#fitfor40#gains
I feel like I have made so much more progress when I stopped thinking of "diets". I was always trying a new "diet" to try to lose weight. But when the diet was over I would go right back to what I was doing and gain back the weight.
Changing my mindset to get healthy so I feel better and making this more of a lifestyle has changed everything for me. A lifestyle where I can chose what I want to eat, try my best to stay balanced and stay active is making all the difference.
I still have work to do but I'm getting there and hopefully making good habits for me and my kiddos.

Another new workout outside of the Core De Force program and I would say 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. It was BOD Exclusive with Jericho Half & Half (so 1/2 cardio & 1/2 power yoga). I have enjoyed mixing up my workouts and I am sore from my earlier in the week workouts....which means my body is being challenged and I am getting stronger!
I could see a few moves in this workout that are now in CDF so I just did the moves how I have done for the last 2 rounds. I really liked today's workout and I am pretty sure I will be feeling it tomorrow 😬👏🏻🔥
