Today Bella and I wanted to be outside and she insisted on joining me for my workout so I insisted on joining her for hers! 💃🏼🥊💃🏼🥊
A little bit of Cize and a little bit of Core De Force!!! .
P.S. Remember we are still not YET professional dancers....it's only day 2 ✌🏻
Positive thinking is more than just a tagline. It changes the way we behave. And I firmly believe that when I am positive, it not only makes me better, but it also makes those around me better! #humbleandkind#waveofaloha#wanderlust
Today we took our family workout to the garage, cracked open the door and put on Cize and spent the afternoon dancing it out!!!
Please be kind we are not YET professionals. It was only our first day 😂😘💕
Oh my goodness it's beautiful outside! This is what I am talking about.
Workout ✅ and I'm sitting outside watching hubby wash his truck 😜
Today is a active recovery day with my program but I decided to change it up. After browsing through my BOD I decided to do some dancing with Country heat.
I am seriously loving this on demand. There are sooo many workouts to chose from. You just can't beat it! You should check it out 😉. I would love to share it with you!!
Yum yum!! Thanks #colesmag for this awesome recipe. Thai style chicken mince with broccolini. Comes in at a very low 4sp 😉 would be nice with a little bit of rice too. #weightwatchersaunz#fitfor40 (this serves 4 btw)
Whew week 6 done 👊🏻. Today's workout Friday Fight round 2 was a doozy. It felt great to get it done even though there were a lot of breaks and modifications.
It is funny to me that I actually enjoy taking video of my workouts now even if slightly embarrassed 😝. Crazy to think that I would never even get in pictures. But it is fun to see how far I have come and to do moves that I used to not be able to do even if I am still working on proper form.
Two more weeks and I will have completed this program 💪🏻👊🏻.
Day 1 Down. Didn't get to finish the first full circuit due to cramping, but I like this app. It's motivating and also allows me to pace myself. I'm soaking wet with sweat, but I feel good.
Day 2, I the goal is a complete 30 min circuit.
The journey continues...
Workout done. I have struggled with everything this week, eaten badly, been lazy, done no exercise. I had the big black depression cloud following me around. I forced myself to hit the gym today and feel so much better for it. Exercise truly is the best and cheapest anti-depressant available. #tryingtobebetterthanyesterday#instafit#depression#blackclouds#fitfor40 😔🤗✨💞✨
I had two choices today. I could wallow in my bad mood. Sit on the couch watching tv and eating (because that is what I would do when emotional) and question and run through my morning.
Or I could do my devotionals, pray on it and ask for help, and then get up and get my workout in.
Working out has become such a stress and anxiety reliever for me. Yes, I still have to deal with the same things just in a different way. If I had done option 1 I would have felt worse and been mad at myself. Instead I feel so much better for getting my workout done and not giving into food. I feel less anxious and more capable of tackling the day and trying to work on a solution for the things that caused my morning to be so crazy 😳. Do you find that workouts help your mood or stress? If not what does help you?
Been thrown off my game over the last week! However, this was Delish and so healthy. Seabass, sitting on asparagus, topped with blitzed sun dried tomatoes and prawns. Baked in a foil, served with broccoli and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan. #instahealthy#tryingtobebetterthanyesterday#fitfor40 😋 ✨🤗✨
Trying to live a healthier lifestyle is so much more than a "diet", right? When I would go on a "diet" I would generally say I want to lose x amount of weight. I set a deadline or a goal and push myself to get to that magic number. But, then I hit that number or get bored or discouraged with the process and go back to doing what I was doing.
Living a healthier lifestyle requires a mindset shift for me. It is more than just trying to lose weight. I feel like I have come along way but then some days when I am struggling I wonder if I have really conquered some of those bad habits. I still have bad days when I overindulge which sometimes turn into more than just a day or two and then get upset with myself for giving in, But it is a process.
I think it is important for me to keep setting new goals for myself and doing new challenges. It keeps me excited and motivated to keep going. And I love this all access pass so that I can try so many new workouts to keep things fresh. I'm trying to decide what my next workout challenge will be after Insanity Max. Do you set new challenges and goals? Are you ready to change things up or get started? Message me and we can motivate each other 👊🏻
