We LOVE to finish our upper body workout with these cable face pulls. You could also imitate this same exercise with a resistance band at home. Hang it off a rail or sturdy door. We did 3 sets of as many reps as we could....oh the burn!

#Day1 of #28DayJumpstart ! Which I totally said yesterday before realizing I couldn't tell the difference between Sunday and Monday (despite watching football and being at my weekend job).
Anywho! This is me. Right now (or about 15 minutes before posting this). This is really hard for me to post and I'm having a hard time trying not to apologize for what I look like. Growing up I was always thin and was told by a lot of people that I was "perfect". I've always been afraid of people seeing the real me. I've been afraid of not being perfect for as long as I can remember even though I've never been remotely close. I know that's ridiculous, but it's a hard frame of mind to get out of.
This journey isn't about getting to "perfect". I just want to love me for me and feel comfortable in my own skin. I need to take care of myself. So it's time to get my butt in gear. The time will pass anyway ❤

Voici le résultat des brioches suisse vegan ! La recette viens de chez @cooking_ana_ et elle est vraiment topissime 😲! Je l'ai un peu modifié en passant de 80 à 40 grammes de sucre complet dans la pâte, en remplaçant le fructose de la crème par du sucre complet, la farine de blé par de la farine d'épeautre blanche , une tuerie merci beaucoup pour cette recette ma jolie elle entre dans le cercle très fermé de mes favoris !
Tout ça avec des produits en vrac donc en plus d'être hypra bonne & vegan elle est zéro déchet !!!
J'en ai congelé quelques une pour les petits dej' de la semaine comme ça on va pouvoir se régaler même quand c'est la course !

First post of my #fitgirls journey! I've put it off for long enough--it's time! I'll post starter pictures later when I have time. (This photo was almost a year ago and also 19 lbs ago 😳)
I'm a college student, 3rd year.
I am a professional princess. I make my own gowns and sing and dance at kids' parties and make magic ✨✨
However, I can't fit into my princess dresses very well anymore (not to mention my pants!!) I worked at Disney and all the princesses are so tiny...I got much bigger. Sooo...
It's time for me to take action!
I'm poor and won't be able to buy the meal supplies and everything, but I'm going to do my best to eat healthily and hopefully drink 2-4 L of water a day!

It doesn't get easier; you just get stronger.
A friend asked me recently about how to deal with no progress. First, I think there is no such thing as "no progress"; progress can be slow, but even if you don't see visible progress, such as defined abs right away, you are internally getting stronger and building the foundations for a better body. Progress looks different on everyone! I know people who get defined abs after 3 months, while for some it takes years. Visible progress will come; the key is to never give up! Little by little, we get stronger every day.
Here are some ways that I keep myself going, even when I feel like results are slow:
1. Stay consistent. Remembering this is a lifestyle change to better myself for the long term, to be healthy for a lifetime.
2. Remind yourself that slowly building strength is like building a strong foundation for a house; you want it methodically and meticulously done over a period of time rather than rushed because it is what will support the rest of the structure for the long haul.
3. Building slowly upon your strength helps to prevent injury. Slowly adding to your body's abilities rather than trying to push yourself as much as possible right away - will help to prevent yourself from overdoing it and causing injury to your body.

Happppy Monday 🌦 Never seen CA get as much rain as it did this weekend 🙌🏼 On the downside... the entire lower floor of my 🏡 ended up flooding 😱 Currently being taken care of, but I wouldn't of noticed if I didn't step on my carpet in my livin room last night- my entire foot was in an inch of water that I couldn't see 🙄😂 Shits crazy. Anyway offff to start the week out with some fasted cardio 👊🏼✌🏼
Workout move of the day....single leg deadlifts. They are a burner for sure🔥
Today was legs and cardio and deadlifts are one of my favorites. .
Single leg deadlifts:
Hold plate in right hand with left leg planted. Lower body into squat position until plate touches the ground. Complete 12 reps and switch legs.
