the initial plan was to help Lucky be cured of fever, then have her adopted out or, if that won't work, just return her to her owner. finding out Lucky has parvo immediately had me thinking of other problems. ideally, the sibling should also be taken to the vet. parvo is very contagious - which reminds me, she has a new rescue puppy from yesterday :(. i also want to separate them from the healthy adult dogs there. but i have really gone in way over my head in vet expenses these days. i cannot find an easier solution that does not involve big expenses. i should mind my own business next time. 💔
Attention phriends: In light of recent events regarding the un-phluffing of phlockers and phriends of the phlock though methods such as grooming, shaving, baths, and brushing, we have decided to come together to form the Pheline Society for the Prevention Of Pheline Un-Phluffing, the PSPPU. We strive to bring visibility to these unjust practices through advocacy and Phluff donantion drives. The solution starts here! Don't be afraid to speak out if you or a phriend has been the victim of cruel un-phluffing! #advocacy#nonprofit#speakout#dontstandidlyby#togetherisbetter
