Knight of Cups is a decent film that some will easily love more than others while others find it dull. Its unique style of shooting can be very interesting but it's a style that eventually loses its effect. This film is a real case of stylenover substance. It's a little too reliant on the style and loses its focus on the narrative which is very distracting. It can feel a little confusing and wandering. The actors (aside from maybe Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett) feel kind of wasted here. There's nothing that memorable about the film other than it's style. It does have a few decent scenes and images that might have worked better within a music video but in a film kind of just seem rather out of place and distracting. The plot can drag towards the end. The storyline will get confusing if you don't pay strict attention because of its sporadic nature. The acting is fine and nobody feels out of place but at the same time the film doesn't give anyone a chance to stick out. Its also kind of obvious that a lot of scenes got cut since they have a star studded cast but many of them don't do anything at all this making them seem pointless. It's honestly a film that is kind of hard to talk about because it really is a film that is so into it's style that there really isn't much else to talk about. It wants to be more about an experience than just a film and in that respect it kind of works. I'd say it might be worth a watch solely for its style, but beware that it's not going to be for everyone. #KnightOfCups#FilmReview#MovieReview#PopCultureJunkieReviews#ChristianBale#CateBlanchett#NataliePortman#FreidaPinto#AntonioBanderas#BrianDennehy#TeresaPalmer#ImogenPoots#IsabelLucas#WesBentley#NickOfferman#JoelKinnaman#JasonClarke#ThomasLennon#JoeManganiello#DaneDehaan#BenKingsley#KevinCorrigan#SheaWhigham#TerrenceMalick
[Gotham | Worse Than a Crime]
here I go again with my otp 😍❤️ I had to make it b&w bc it looked ugly // but omfg can we just talk about the new ep omfg 😍 it was so good, I loved every second of it. People are disappointed bc we only got like 5 seconds of Jerome but the next ep will be all about him. And I'm so annoyed with everyone literally watching the show just for him. Like I love him don't get me wrong but he was in literally 5 episodes while the other characters have been in the show since the begging and they're all amazing and the actors that potray them. Gotham honestly has one of the best casts and ppl kinda need to concentrate on other characters and their storylines too not just Jerome bc the whole show is fucking amazing 😍 // I'm gonna watch aos soon omfg I'm sooo excited
Leon the Professional (1994) starring Jean Reno, Natalie Portman and Gary Oldman
"Mathilda: You killed my brother.
Stansfield: I'm sorry. And you want to join him?
Stansfield: It's always the same thing. It's when you start to become really afraid of death that you learn to appreciate life. Do you like life, sweetheart?
Stansfield: That's good, because I take no pleasure in taking life if it's from a person who doesn't care about it."

During the filming involving all of the police cars on the street, a man ran from a store he had just robbed. When he encountered the movie set by accident, he saw all of the "police" and gave himself up to a bunch of uninformed movie extras.

The only three movies left to watch before I will post my Top 15 of 2016 are Jackie and Hacksaw Ridge, and I'll be seeing them this weekend, as well as Paterson which hopefully I will be able to see soon.
There were so many great films last year that I couldn't only do a top 10, so I'll be doing 15 plus some honourable mentions.
