One day as I was running away from my children's father I remember thinking he was going to catch up to me and kill me and I was going to die simply Bc I couldn't run any faster or fight back (he was muscular built and 6'2") Seriously... I remember thinking "ah Liliana! Why aren't you faster?! Why aren't you stronger?!"🤦🏽‍♀️ fast forward that crazy story a few months later when I had finally had enough money to grab my kids and leave ... I started college and as a requirement had to take a PE class.. I chose self defense! My instructor was the sweetest but meanest 70 yr old lady out there! She taught me to feel self empowered as a woman and I knew I'd never look back! I continued on my journey to get stronger .. that was always the goal #strongnotskinny then I shed tons of weight (60lbs) in the process but I was so strong it was amazing! Then I gained it all back after college & my muscles went totally flabby... I lost sight of why I had come so far...well...4 years later here I am, ready to regain all that strength and agility back! After a couple slices of that banana bread🍌 I posted on my story, I decided a proper dinner should probably be made☺️ •• & These bowls are seriously the best🙌🏼 Tonight I threw into a bowl: spinach🌿 + carrots🥕 + radish + roasted brussels sprouts in @chosenfoods avocado oil with garlic salt & pepper + baked chicken🐔 in avocado oil with curry powder & pink Himalayan sea salt + @betterbeanco chipotle beans + @kitehillfoods chive cream cheese + roasted red pepper hummus •• SO FULL but so good. Frustrating yes, especially when I have to figure out where I can fit a meal in during a 4.5 hr class, but I have that meal ready to go and my trusty @6packbags to keep my meals cool.

In addition to my meals, I've started adding ACV drinks to my diet. I've been experiencing a lot of shoulder inflammation and pain, and this has helped reduce it naturally. I add 1T of ACV to a glass of water and add cayenne pepper, turmeric, and a little stevia/honey to sweeten it up. Thanks to @strictly_fitness_ for piquing my interest with your combos!

Por aquí tenemos unos gnocchi (gnocchis?) de batata y harina de trigo integral, 1 taza de brócoli salteado y unas 2 o 3 buenas cucharadas de salsa de pasta suuuuper cargada de vegetales. Go veggies!! Gnocchi: 2 batatas pequeñas hervidas. Cuando estén frías quitar la piel y aplastar con un tenedor. Agregar sal, pimienta, un huevo. Agregarle entre 1 a 1 taza y media de harina de trigo integral (puedes usar de la blanca si quieres, no pasa nada). Cuando puedas estirarlos en churros y picarlos están perfectos. Lánzalos en agua hirviendo, y cuando floten están listos para comer.

Para hacer estos ricos y saludables Cupcake necesitarás:
_
- 4 huevos
- 2 tazas de harina de arroz o la que usen
- 2 cditas de bicarbonato de sodio
- 1 níspero maduro
- 2 tazas de agua
- 1/2 taza de nueces
- 1 taza de hojitas de stevia
- 2 cdas de aceite de coco, maíz o canola
- El jugo de 1 limón
- 4 dátiles (opcional)
- 1/2 cdita de canela molida. (opcional)

Lo primero que debes hacer es hervir los dátiles en las 2 tazas de agua por 10 minutos aproximadamente (si no tienes dátiles hierve el agua sola). Luego apagas el fuego, saca los dátiles e inmeditamente después agregas las hojitas de stevia. Tapa y deja reposar mientras vas haciendo lo demás.

Remoja las nueces en un poco de agua, mientras completas los demás pasos. Tamiza la harina y el bicarbonato y reserva.

Vuelve a la stevia y cuelala. Aparte licúa 1 taza de esta infusión de stevia, la nueces y el níspero. Vierte esta crema espesa en un bol y mézclala con los huevos, la canela, el aceite y el jugo de limón. Agrega la harina poco a poco, hasta unificar todo.

Vierte la preparación en los moldes engrasados y hornea a 180°C o 350°F por 20 minutos o hasta que al introducir un cuchillo salga limpio.

Well...almost, I still have to go to bed without eating something! 😋 Right here is my 6th & final juice for today's #juicefast! 💚Today I tried the Medical Medium's juice fast of just cucumbers, apples and celery (which can be found on p.272-273 in his first book). 🥒🍎 I made 6 16-20oz of these and drank them every 2 hours! The only other thing I had was 6 glasses of lemon water!💛 It has been ok, I felt a bit nauseous by the afternoon, but that eventually passed. I was hungry, but each time the hunger pangs grew strong was right before it was time for my next juice, which always helped satiate me! 😀 Overall, I would say it went well, and if I can try to do this every Sunday, that would be ideal! A few of you said you may do this as well, which would be awesome, nothing like doing it with others for support! Cheers for healing our bodies and giving them the gift of health! These are movements we do everyday- just like sitting in a chair and getting up. Mastering functional movements and adding weight onto them make our daily chores a lot easier to do! La vitamina B6 también conocida como piridoxina se absorbe en nuestro intestino y una vez metabolizada sus depósitos con mayor reserva son el hígado, encéfalo, riñón, bazo y músculo, éste último es el mayor depósito y esto tiene mucho que ver con su función, resulta que la vitamina B6 funciona como coenzima en casi todas las reacciones del metabolismo de los aminoácidos (proteínas), además sin vitamina B6 no pudieramos realizar la biosíntesis de neurotransmisores como la serotonina (hormona de la felicidad), la adrenalina y la noradrenalina, también es necesaria en nuestro mantenimiento mientras estamos en ayuno ya que actúa en la liberación de glucosa a partir de glucógeno (depósito de azúcar). Actúa en la biosíntesis de compuestos relacionados con la vaina de mielina de las células nerviosas (esta es necesaria para la transmisión de impulsos nerviosos). Afortunadamente siendo tan esencial la podemos encontrar en muchos alimentos, están en grandes concentraciones en carne animal y productos de granos enteros especialmente trigo, en verduras y frutos secos.
La ingesta diaria recomendada para adulto es de 1,3 a 1.7mg/día dependiendo del sexo. La deficiencia de la vitamina se manifiesta con síntomas como debilidad, insomnio, neuropatía periférica, queilosis, glositis, estomatitis y alteración de la inmunidad celular aunque son relativamente infrecuente los casos de deficiencia de esta vitamina porque está bien distribuida en los  alimentos. ¿Cómo lograr la ingesta diaria recomendada?

Throw some white beans, kidney beans, sliced carrots, diced tomatoes, veggie broth and lean beef in the crockpot. Put it on low for 6 hours. Cook some ditalini pasta separately and add when ready to eat (if you add to crockpot, it'll soak up all the liquid and end up a paste not soup.)
