Not a lot of workout photos recently? It's because me & @beingsteph are taking a well needed week away. Here she's clutching @uphilldesigns bamboo trek pole - dubious at first she came to love this wicked bit of kit by the end of the hike! This week away doesn't mean fitness doesn't come into it though - it may not look like a typical training week, but the great location and extra time simply provides opportunity to actually USE the time spent training fitness to go have fun and explore. For me the outdoors is the ultimate place to express fitness, in that age old contest of man vs nature. (Though really it's just man vs himself; a hunger games style battle where the contestants are body, mind and spirit, and nature simply provides the arena.) #getoutside#useyourfitness
Something a little different today! If you follow my insta stories you know I might be a little into Crossfit :) Last weekend a group of us from our gym went down to Miami to compete at @thewodapalooza and it was such a great experience. Here is Morgan climbing away! If you have to climb ropes at least it's with this view. #miami#wzamiami#wza#celebrate6#crossfit#fitness
Waking up today after finishing my infusion late last night, I feel weak & tired and like a granny. Bret picked up some sweats for me yesterday, size small. I haven't been a size small since high school.
I'm motivated today. Motivated to get back to ME. Motivated to bounce back from another rock bottom & prove to you guys that it can be done - in a healthy way.
112 pounds today. NEVER EVER EVER take your health for granted.
You'll never know when you need that health on your side and TRUST ME, it's cheaper than medication. 💕

Goodmorning! 🌞 Whitney here! 🤸🏼♀️ I am feeling 100 times better and this morning I made breakfast for my toddler and I, a healthy breakfast! 🍳 We had some avocado toast, and sunny side up eggs! 😍 What did you make for breakfast this morning? 🍽 #wearethewives
It's #flexfriday and you KNOW that calls for a selfie 💪😂 In all seriousness though, I've been doing a new workout program for almost two weeks now and what I absolutely love is how much stronger I feel and how much I can see myself progressing on certain moves. Fewer breaks, more advanced movements, and hello bicep again 😉 It's a wonderful, empowering thing, and if you missed the "new years resolution" boat, then I'd encourage you to go on the gain train with yours truly.
My next Fit Club starts in less than two weeks, and because my January group filled up so quickly, I wanted to open up February EARLY! 😘✌ If you're tired of feeling sluggish, of having no energy, tired of the holiday muffin top, or simply ready to make a change, comment "VALENTINE" below and I'll send you a message with all the fabulous deets! 😘✌💕
If you have valuable knowledge, share it! Don't hold on to it!
Pass it on. Help others. Make waves. And do good in this world.
This is me speaking and putting a group of people through their paces, at a wellness convention of my beautiful fiancé @ashquant business.
This post popped up in my news feed as a memory from a year ago. A year later I can smile and look back and say "wow, look how much better I've gotten in just the past year". I was still 250 lbs in a 2XL shirt in the right pic. Now I'm 195 in a size medium, stronger, faster, better...
The number of friends that I have that support and challenge me is truly amazing. But I do have a few naysayers that often ask "why are you still working out?" Or "hey, you can eat such and such now since you're skinny".
The answer is, I still go hard because I want to be the best version of myself that I can be. It's a lifestyle, it's who I am. I've changed. I'm not that old guy anymore who says "I can't". I'm now the guy that sets a high bar to meet and won't stop til I reach it, because I know that if I work hard enough, I can. If you're not challenging yourself, you're not growing as a individual. This is just the beginning!! Where will you be a year from now? It's up for you to decide!

Officially hit a major milestone - a little over 150 lbs lost as of today and still losing! Picture to left is me back in August 2011. The rest of the family was zip lining that day, but I had to sit out on the sideline and watch because I was too heavy. I use to hate taking pictures and even refused taking high school senior portraits because I was ashamed of my weight. My mom was sneaky and took that photo from a distance when I wasn't looking. -
Picture to the right was just this past weekend. We were walking around the lakes and I said hey, this is a good view, let's take pictures! I now have a completely new positive outlook on life.
I was telling a friend of mine recently that I'm thankful for the journey, because I've changed on the inside too. It's taught me patience, long suffering, and perseverance.
On this journey I've learned that:
1. Circumstances in life may have brought you to where you are now, but the second you realize and accept the fact that you are the only variable to change in your life, everything changes.
2. Believe that you can and you're halfway there....."
