Perhaps the greatest catalyst of Joy is found in allowing forgiveness in your heart, in reflecting His light from your soul.

Today we tried sushi with oranges and raw salmon- sounds gross but it was, hands down, the best sushi I've ever eaten and my life is forever changed. 🍣 #sunshinerollforlife #trynewthings

Visiting the place my Dad grew up is definitely going on my bucket list. (Of course he didn't live in the actual church building, but that's besides the point)

Looked up the weather for the week- one source says below freezing and the other says 60's. And somehow that makes sense, because in Ohio there are no rules.

Thankful for parents that constantly remind me to never, never settle for anything less than this.
And for a sister that's a photobombing Queeeen👸🏼

Let 2017 be a year of surrender.
Of surrendering bad habits, destructive thoughts, failures big and small.
Of surrendering the good things- the laughs, the growth, the successes-
letting the Lord heal it all,
letting the Lord lead it all.
Let 2017 be a year of surrender.
Let it be a year of trust.

Last semester I went to the library book sale on campus and bought what felt like a million books, but my favorite so far is "Ask Him Anything" by Lloyd J. Ogilvie.
Honestly, after every page- "Dang."
Every chapter- "Dang, Lloyd". -and thats when you know it's good.

I asked the Zebra,
are you black with white stripes?
Or white with black stripes?
And the zebra asked me,
Are you good with bad habits?
Or are you bad with good habits?
Are you noisy with quiet times?

Are you happy with some sad days?
Or are you sad with some happy days?
Are you neat with some sloppy ways?
Or are you sloppy with some neat ways?
And on and on and on and on and on and on he went.
I’ll never ask a zebra about stripes...again.
- Shel Silverstein, you're my favorite.
